My name is Josephine, and I graduated from Princeton University in 2023. As a Seattle-native, I am passionate about leveling the playing field for students who may not have opportunities to explore their diverse interests. I created Washington Education Institute with the goal of providing an equitable and accessible way for students in grades 1-8 to explore their academic and extracurricular passions. WEI's social impact initiatives are near and dear to my heart, and I am always looking for ways to empower students to explore their unique interests.

We are always looking for community partners in Washington state to help our mission. Through community partnership, we are able to expand our services and help students access quality after school education. Community partners help sustain the WEI Social Initiative, which focuses on making after school education affordable, accessible, and empowering. Community partnership helps us reach more students who may not be able to access after school programming or specialized extracurriculars in the arts, music, language, dance, Taekwondo as well as academic support in the form of tutoring. We believe that education continues even when the school bell rings, and for many students, the after school component of education is even more important. Help us bring an enriching educational and extracurricular experience to more students!

We believe that every student deserves a quality afterschool education where they can access the academic support they need and experience the extracurricular activities they desire. The WEI Social Impact Initiative was created to sponsor low-income students to access our services at a significantly reduced rate or for free. Please email us with "WEI Social Initiative" in your subject heading if you are interested in how you can help donate to this initiative or to inquire about enrolling a student who may qualify.
